21st January 2004: WINTER FOURSOMES NOW AT SEMI FINAL STAGE
The winter foursomes are now at the semi final stages with the top
half of the draw being Sandra Gilchrist
and Jennifer Chuwen

to play Maimie Robin and Maureen
Mitchell (Old Ranfurly)
Sandra and Jennifer received a walk over in the
quarter finals from Willeen McCallum and Liz Drysdale (Whitecraigs and
Eastwood) due to the fact that poor Willeen slipped on the ice on
Saturday and broke her wrist.
The bottom half of the draw is a
Ranfurly Castle affair with
Anne Robinson and Fiona Roger

Renfrewshire Ladies County Player Jennifer Jenkins
(Ralston), pictured right, winner of the Scottish girls' title in 1988
and a junior international player in 1987 and 1988, is to captain
Scotland in the girls' home internationals at Strathaven from August
11 to 13.
Many congratulations to Jenny and good luck to all the team in 2004

2nd January 2004:
Scottish Senior Womens Championship
Southerness Golf Club has been chosen to host the 2004
Scottish senior women’s (closed) amateur championship on September 2nd
and 3rd.
It will be the eighth staging of the 36-hole stroke-play event for
women over the age of 50 years.
Aileen Wilson our Renfrewshire Captain was a winner in 1997 -- Can
we not have a winner in 2004-- WHY NOT
